Annual family audit — method
How the Foundation Elevators Field Visit Team conducts the annual family audit on every sponsored student, and what each sponsor receives as a result.
Meet your student in person; hear their story in their own words. Receive regular letters from them as well as copies of their grades, so you can see how much your gift has impacted their lives. An annual financial report is sent to all our stakeholders.
We work with other responsible charity foundations and government social workers to identify promising students from low-income families. All of our students are genuinely in need: their families earn less than 50 US dollars per month and often suffer from hardships such as chronic or terminal illness.
Every sponsored student receives an annual family audit carried out in person by a Foundation Elevators social worker — our Field Visit Team. The audit confirms that the household circumstances still match the need we recorded at enrolment, and that fees and supplies reached the student.
As a volunteer-led, non-profit organization, 100% of your scholarship donation goes to support our sponsored students. Keeping costs down means your gifts make the biggest impact possible.
